Hi, my name is Wendy Cao, and I am a registered educator with the CASS Family Day Care Scheme. As a mother of two, I am experienced and attentive in caring for children. I graduated from a preschool education institute in China and have worked as a professional preschool teacher at a long day care centre in Australia for several years. I truly enjoy being a trusted friend to children and listening to them with patience and care.
My teaching philosophy:
Sense of Belonging: Children will feel safe and secure in my care through my unique approach, which I call the “here-being-becoming” method, helping them build strong emotional connections.
Learning through Play: I believe that games are an essential part of the learning process, as play is the most effective way for children to learn and grow.
Fostering Interest in Chinese Culture and Language: I strive to reinforce children’s interest in learning about Chinese culture and the Chinese language, helping them explore and appreciate diversity.
